Editing Workshop (Facilitated)

I will be teaching you how to get started writing your first novel or to begin storytelling in whatever format you wish but always in a fun, creative, and practical way.

My workshops are aimed at beginner-level aspiring authors of fiction.

Date: Saturday, 25th April 2026

Time: 10am-4pm

This is your first opportunity of the year to get on this incredible workshop focused on editing your manuscript! There are very limited spaces, so don’t miss out, book your place now …

Learn editing tips from me as I walk you through the foundations of editing. You’ll be able to edit on the day and learn some basic skills so you can continue to edit after the workshop.

You can decide which method of editing works best for you:

  1. If you write on a laptop, tablet, etc., please bring that along. There will be plug points and wifi available.
  2. If you write with pen and paper, then please bring a copy of your manuscript to work on. I repeat, a copy, not the original, please!

Ideally, if you can bring a laptop/tablet/phone either way, so you can also access suggested digital tools. But I will provide a list of anything mentioned so you can access them later if you prefer.

You’ll receive editing tips (printed and digital) for you to keep. During the workshop, I’ll also talk you through different ways to edit sections of your manuscript. You might be surprised by what works best for you.

Taking place in a fantastic venue in Lanarkshire in early 2026. Make a start on your next draft and feel more confident in your writing.
