01 May Invaluable business tools to boost your business

There are so many business tools and apps and websites out there to help you in starting-up or running your existing business. From Hootsuite, Wonderlist, Mailchimp, GoogleAds, Moz…the list goes on and on and we all have our favourites.

You may or may not have read I’ve been working on my first business book. After my debut novel was published in 2014, I launched into writing a fiction trilogy and it’s been really interesting switching from fantasy to serious non-fiction writing. But quite a few of my clients have said to me numerous times that I need to write down all the ideas and tips I tell them in some kind business tools resource guide! I dismissed it at the time since who am I to write a business book after being self-employed for less than five years!

The thing is, I am my target market and who better to write it all down than someone who understands and can string a sentence together! So the first half of this year, I’ve been adding to my notes and editing and working on the chapters and content. And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s one of my early 2017 goals to get it finished and published and I’m fast on my way to hitting it!

It’s to be exactly the kind of business guide book and resource reference I truly wish I had back when I started out. All the questions I was a bit nervous to ask for fear of sounding inexperienced, tips I’ve picked up from super successful business owners, productively hacks, tools and apps I use to make my work life much easier.
